I have of late been in a bird and animal phase. This little pin utilized a smaller piece of stock left over after cutting out a larger piece. I can say that the photo of this piece really does not do it justice in the way it depicts the ‘character’ of the bird. The smallest changes in contour and surface planes changes everything. I am very happy with both the character expressed and the surface’s reflective qualities. I very good example of my work.
